In short, I think Carrie Davis is truly exceptional and I couldn’t be more positive about her. She is among the most professional people I have ever met. She is an extraordinarily capable realtor: knowledgeable, experienced, thoughtful, strategic, attentive to all the details, resourceful, and  surpassingly effective in every aspect I can bring to mind. And an absolutely super person on top of all that. Carrie was our agent both for the purchase of a new home and the sale of our old one. In both settings, she was rock solid: always available for considered advice and ever-ready with a sensible solution to whatever complication might arise. Inevitably, there were a range of such complications – from the trivial to the substantial – but from the outset we were confident we could rely on Carrie to find us a straightforward path through the many challenges. This confidence derived in part from her professional approach, her articulate carefully-reasoned explanations, and the fact that it was always immediately clear that she cared deeply about doing things the right way and had our best interests in mind. We never had cause to doubt or second-guess her advice, and we remain extremely happy with the outcomes we obtained. Carrie closed the sale of our house within six weeks of it going on the market. It was available for viewing over a period of about two weeks during which more than 150 groups toured it; ultimately, we received seven offers from four of the groups. In a difficult time for the local market, the house was sold for just slightly under the asking price. I am certain the success we saw was entirely due to all the hard work Carrie put into preparing the house for market, organizing the promotional materials, and setting an appropriate (and from my perspective, inspired) asking price. Everything she arranged was superb, and it is a very lengthy list: painting (external and internal), landscaping, staging, innumerable small and large tasks involving electricians, cleaners, floor refinishing, handymen, … The photography she organized and the website showcasing it were the pièces de résistance and undoubtedly responsible for a lot of the interest the house generated. She charted our way through the offer and sale process in typically expert and seemingly effortless fashion. For the purchase of our new home, Carrie provided many helpful insights into the different localities we were considering and sent us information about numerous properties. She made herself available to show us the houses on short notice and she was always ready with useful observations and opinions. She made us aware of several houses before they were listed or just as they came on the market, including the one that we ultimately purchased. She gave us sage advice on how to craft a winning offer and she handled the back-and-forth with the seller in expert fashion. She put us in touch with a terrific lender who helped us arrange bridging financing. She was an absolutely invaluable resource throughout the whole process. Carrie works very hard and obviously cares a lot about what she does. I would have immense difficulty imagining someone who could outperform her in any aspect of her job. And if such a person exists, I would still bet on Carrie. I unreservedly recommend her with the strongest possible enthusiasm.
